Details: Villa Sarabanda is a spacious detached villa, situated in a residential suburb of Calpe "The Pines". Vehicle acccess is via a small quiet cul-de-sac and there is parking for two vehicles.
The villa is very comfortable throughout and is furnished in a Rustic Spanish style. All the bedrooms are provided with Tower fans and there are duvets and blankets for winter use.
This substantial villa is built on two levels & will accomodate up to eight people. There being three bedrooms upstairs and a studio apartment downstairs.
Villa sarabanda is an easy 10 minute walk to the sea/ Beach and local supermarkets and within 5 minutes walk of numerous retaurants and bars. Calpe town is five minutes drive - passing the salt fields on the way, where flamingo's can be seen.
The main living and sleeping area of the villa is on the upper floor, which is approached by an external staircase, which leads onto a Large terraced area which is covered and overlooks the villa's swimming pool. The terrace has ample room for the enjoyment of alfresco meals. Within the villa is a lounge / dining room which contains a woodburning stove (for winter use), C.D / Radio player, plus satalite T.V and DVD player. There is a separate kitchen with fridge freezer and microwave. The upper bedrooms comprise of -One double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Two twin bedrooms and the house bathroom.
The lower level consists of a sun-room, which has tinted sliding glass doors, this leads into the studio apartment which comprises of a spacious twin bedroom / living room with an en-suite shower room, there is also a Kitchenette area with a washing machine.
The villa has a standard sized swimming pool, with roman steps leading into it. Adjoining the pool is a sun-terrace area with pool side furniture and a mosaic tiled wrap around pool shower. Within the sun-terrace area is a built in Barbecue with chimney.
The property stands within a good sized walled garden. To the rear of the villa is an interesting cacus garden which grows amongst pine and eucalyptus trees.
Because of villa Sarabanda's wonderful situation and it's south facing aspect the villa benefits from the Costa Blanca climate from sunrise through to the sun setting. The open wrap around terrace at the front of the villa enjoys stunning, uninterrupted views of the Sierra Bernia Mountain range, which rises to over 1000 metres. (This is wonderful and spectacular walking terraine during the off-peak winter months). The terrace also comes into it's own at night when the scent of Jasmine and other highly scented plants within the garden mingle in the night air. The terrace is also an ideal place to be - to watch the late night fire work displays from Calpe - during the local fiestas.
There are some excellent golf courses in the area. The renowned Don Cayo golf course is 15 minutes by car. Water world and Terra Miticha are approx 25 minutes drive by car. The Sierra Bernia Mountain range is also well worth exploring. This is a nature reserve famous for it's spring waters and abundance of wild flowers. there are charming rustic restaurants for the less energetic.

People have been seen sun-bathing on the beach on Christmas day !.
There is also a smaller beach closer to the villa - which has a reef for diving from.
