Secluded Dordogne holiday property, with heated pool

Details: Nestled in the heart of the Dordogne, 8km from the medieval town of Sarlat, this stunning holiday cottage is part of the Peycibeau estate set on 42 acres of private land, offering perfect seclusion and tranquility.
The self-contained guest wing of the house has private access, with an entrance through French windows at the front, and also a door to the rear garden, where there is a secluded terrace with wooden garden furniture & BBQ, and a path leading to the solar-heated swimming pool.
Guests staying in the cottage are welcome to enjoy the use of the magnificent summer house, which is situated near the pool and has a bar with comfortable seating, a bathroom with a steam-shower, a large dining area with a choice of cooking between the traditional bread-oven and the stone-built BBQ.
Inside the cottage there is a large reception room, with a fitted kitchen, including dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob & hood, microwave, and all the necessary kitchenware. Also in the reception room, a dining table and chairs, a dresser, a large comfortable sofa-bed & small armchair, Satellite TV and DVD player (DVDs available) and radio/CD player. Wi-Fi internet connectivity is available.
There are two comfortably furnished bedrooms, one double and one twin. Four persons, therefore, can be accommodated perfectly, and a fifth person could sleep on the sofabed. A cot, and high chairs are available if required, and a washing machine, iron etc.
The large bathroom, has a bath and a separate shower enclosure, basin & WC. All bedding and towels are provided. Each room has window shutters, curtains, and central heating.
Entrance to the property is through electric gates, and there is ample parking close to the house. Because the cottage accommodation is all on the ground floor, it is very suitable for elderly or part-disabled guests.
Although the property is secluded, and this is undoubtedly one of its main attractions, only 2km away is the local village of Carsac, with all the necessary amenities, including a boulangerie, butchers, general store, chemist and post office, restaurants and a bar/tabac.
The Dordogne river is a few minutes further down the road, where there are quiet banks to bathe, fish or canoe, the picturesque cycle piste runs through the village, and only 8 km away is the historic town of Sarlat.
