Details: Enjoy a stay in our spacious, extended end terraced house "Lindum". Situated down a quiet lane in the North Norfolk coastal village of Brancaster which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our well equipped house sleeps 8 with ample space for visitors to bring their own travel cot ( stair gate provided). Lindum is ideally situated within easy walking distance to the coastal path and there are many things to see and do in the local area. This is an excellent area for nature lovers and bird watchers with reserves at nearby Titchwell, Holme, Scolt Head Island and Snettisham.
Downstairs accommodation consists of a through lounge diner, kitchen, small utility room and additional lounge . There is a toilet located next to the utility room.
The garden is enclosed and there is parking for 2 cars. Patio furniture provided.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must remain downstairs and are not allowed to sleep on the chairs. Please bring your own bowls, bedding and towels to wipe paws!
No smoking indoors.
Facilities at the property: washing machine/tumble drier, microwave, TV, DVD & video, radio/ CD player hair drier, bed guard.
Lindum has four well decorated bedrooms ( 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms) thereby sleeping 8 people, with ample space for visitors to bring their own travel cot ( stair gate provided). Upstairs there is also a family bathroom with an over bath shower.
Lindum" is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is within easy walking distance to the Coastal Path, beach, pub serving good food, shop, post office and church. Most of the coastline around Brancaster is owned by the National Trust and consists of miles and miles of sandy beaches. A fort stood here in Roman times, Branoduni Castra, its purpose to protect the north coast against marauding Frankish and Saxon pirates. The village was then known as Branodunum. Unfortunately, nothing now remains of the stronghold except some ditches to the east of the village and a street named Branodunum.
This is an excellent area for nature lovers and bird watchers with reserves at nearby Titchwell, Holme, Scolt Head Island and Snettisham. Other attractions include the golf course, sailing from Brancaster Staithe, Stately homes such as Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and Sandringham plus the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. There are many good restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.
