Traditional french farmhouse set in a small hamlet in The Bay Of Mont St Michel Weekly Rate From: N/A Type: Rental Bathrooms: 2 Bedrooms: 2 Sleeps: 10 plus travel cot Details: Set in the Normandy Countryside just 15 minutes from Le Mont St Michel our farmhouse is the perfect getaway from the hussle & bussle of modern life. Our growing small holding presently comprises goats,sheep saddleback pigs, chickens,ducks ,guinea fowl & geese. Set in a tiny Hamlet yet close to all local ammenities we are ideally located for those wishing to explore this beautiful region. Pontorson is just 10 mins away( train station, shops & restaurants) Le Mont St Michel is just 15 mins drive. Our self contained guest quarters ( private entrance) comprise a comfortable double room with on-suite bathroom. ( Double bed & bunk beds) The room has a TV DVD Player along with coffee making facilities. A Travel cot is available for children up to 2 years old. The room opens onto the garden where patio furniture is provided. Our Large amily bedroom is situated on the first floor & has double bed & 4 single beds.The room has an en-suite shower room. Breakfast is served in our spacious newly renovated dining room that boasts origional 17 th century stone fireplace & oak beams. Breakfast comprises our homemade fayre of fruit juices, bread & preserves. We also serve croissants or free range eggs, tea & coffee. Our evening meals comprise of a selection of our own raised pork lamb duck goose or chicken. ( vegetarian options available) Sample menus below 4 couse evening meal Homemade cream of courgette soup with freshly baked walnut bread. Shoulder of Free Range Lamb with Rosemary & Garlic. Chocolate Orange & cream. Selection of cheeses. Coffee chocolates & Calvados/ Brandy. 2 Course Menu Hpme reared poerk cooked in normandy apples with cider.
