We are on the Messinian peninsula, the South-West tip of mainland Greece, part of the Peloponnese, a relatively unknown part of Greece and untouched by package tourism. Its rural Greece at it’s best, an ideal place to stay if you want to experience real Greece. People often come to Gargarou Retreat when taking a sabbatical or having reached a point of change in their lives, enjoying the quiet, gentle pace of Greek life, allowing time for relaxation and regeneration, time for themselves.
