Two villas with heated pool and BBQ – private and peaceful with fantastic sea and mountain views. We are ideally located for sea , lakes and mountains but away from the hustle, bustle and parking problems of the coast, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Villas can sleep up to 2 - 13 ( if using sofa beds ) or we can lease separately out of season. Our son- in- law is a qualified Adventure Consultant and can tailor make activities in the area for you, if required eg. Canyonning and gorge walking, kite and windsurfing, mountain and downhill cycling, water or even snow skiing ( 2 hrs away ) in Winter.Casa Palma has two bedrooms, a bathroom with full bath, bidet, hair drier, etc., kitchen, dining room and lounge and its’ own private patio with sun shade, table and chairs. The lounge has a wood burning stove and a good selection of books, satellite Sky TV, internet broadband access and DVD player. We have furnished the house in a simple but attractive Andalucian style. The property is on one level with a gated, stepped entrance. It is suitable for disabled persons if they can manage the two small steps at the second entrance. It is safe for children or pets, because they will be unable to leave the confines of the house and patio and stray to the poolside unnoticed. The main bedroom has a double bed and there are fitted wardrobes in both bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped for long term living. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator/ freezer, electric fan assisted oven, gas hob and extractor, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, wine rack, etc., There are ceiling fans in every room and mosquito screens on the windows. We provide additional portable fans if wanted. During cooler, winter months, we supply duvets and room heaters.
Casa Rosa has three bedrooms and is also laid out on one storey, although there is a step inside the house leading to the sleeping area, which would make the house difficult for a disabled person. There are two shower bathrooms in this property. There is a double bed in one room, two twins in each of the other rooms and all have fitted wardrobes with plenty of books again to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen, though small, is perfectly formed and well equipped, having a large refrigerator/ freezer, free standing cooker, washing machine, ironing board, iron, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, etc., This house also has Sky TV, internet broadband access, mobile CD/MP3 player, Playstation 2 and a video player. There is a private patio, table, chairs and large sun awning.
All bed linen and towels are provided, although we ask you to bring your own beach towels. We provide our guests with a small welcome pack on arrival, with any seasonal produce from the finca if available - avocados, plums, mandrarins, tomatoes, lemons, oranges, kumquats, satsumas, grapes, custard apples.
Outdoor living is a way of life here in Spain and we hope that you will enjoy the beautiful views, the flowers, the scenery as much as we do. Sipping a Tinto de Verano ( wine of the Summer ) whilst reclining in the soothing jets of the 6 seater Jacuzzi, looking up at the mountains or the clear stars, unpolluted by town light, is an unforgettable experience, not to be missed.
We live on site, next door, but unseen from your accommodation and this year, we have added a Jacuzzi, ( open 2 nights per week, no extra charge ) and opened our mandarin grove, other further grounds with two fish ponds and a fountain, to our guests which we hope you will also enjoy.
We are 5 mins by car from either town where you will find plenty of bars, nightlife, discos, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, sports complex, indoor swimming pool and so on. A car is essential when booking to stay at Finca Fernandez because of our rural location.
Lauro golf course 2 mins ( we are next door ) plus 60 more within easy driving distance.
