This is the view of the swimming pool from the bedroom. It is fully enclosed and gated. It is 26ft x 16 ft and 6ft 6in deep in the middle. It has a gentle slope to the deep end plus a ledge all round to stand on. There are 3 easy steps leading into the pool. Sunloungers, parasols and pool inflatables are supplied It is floodlit and can be used at night and makes a wonderful feature for evening barbecues.
Details: The house is very private and has an acre of garden with a fully fenced heated swimming pool - this is available from May to September. It is not shared with another property or the owners.
The kitchen is large and fully fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a table seating 6, 2 armchairs and a woodburner.
The lounge is large and comfortable with seating for 10. There is an original granite fireplace with a woodburner. Exposed stone walls and lots of beams.
Off the lounge is the garden room with 2 chairs and a beautiful view over the gardens and pool area- good chill out area.. A door leads to the twin bedroom with 2 single beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Opposite is the downstairs toilet and shower room making it suitable for disabled or wheelchair users.
The dining room leads from the lounge and has a large farmhouse table for seating 8-12. It has a large granite fireplace with woodburner and patio doors out to the front.
A door leads into the games room which is ideal for both children and adults. There is an good size pub style pool table, table football, electronic darts game, PS2 and games, TV and dvd's & videos, selection of games and childrens toys. There is a small bar area. This is a magnificent room full of character with huge exposed beams and a feature fireplace. It also has a 2 comfy sofas, bar stools and floor cushions.
From the dining room a staircase leads upto the 1st floor mezzanine gallery which has a great view over the games room. There is a sofa and 2 armchairs, UK TV, PS1 and dvd's and videos.
From the mezzanine you come to a double bedroom and a twin room both with their own washbasins. There is also a bathroom at the end of the corridor with toilet, basin and bath.
The pool is available from May - Sept and is heated between 26 and 28 degress.. It has steps leading down into it and gradually slopes to the deepest part. It is fully fenced and gated, only 12ft from the house. There are sunloungers, garden chairs, patio tables, parasols and a barbeque all available at no extra charge.
For young children we can provide either a fixed cot or travel cot, 2 high chairs, bed guard, baby bath, toilet seat, stairgates top and bottom at all staircases.

Rental Notes:
Changeovers are Saturday in high and peak season - at other times this can be varied
Parents must ensure young children are supervised at all times in the garden and pool area.
Linen is included in the rental charge. Cot linen is supplied but must be requested in advance. Towels are also provided. Extra linen if needed is 10 euros per person per week.
The house is available all year round from January to December and is ideal for Christmas.
In the low season months it is possible to rent just half the house making it suitable for 2-4 people. You will have use of a double room, twin room, kitchen/diner, large lounge and an ensuite shower room plus another shower room downstairs - this will be from just £245 per week for 2 persons. For each additional person please add £50 per week.
As there is a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor and only small steps to negotiate it is suitable for the elderly - doorways are wide.
From October to May we ask for a contribution towards the electricity charge of 10 cents per unit. A telepone is available for long term rentals and internet use - please ask for details.
Logs are available at 6 euros a night and need to be ordered in advance.
