Imagine around it olive-groves, the characteristic fragrance, that only this very land can have. This is Villa Basso, for the traveller who appreciates fine taste, a real historical character, and a home away from home.
This ancient typical villa on Gargano coast was once the summer residence of a rich local family. It is in an ideal position to enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. It was the set of the movie “ High Bright Sun” with Dirk Bogarde.
The property has been restored with the care and passion that only those who loves this place can feel. The apartment for rent is equipped with every comfort and furnished with taste:
a spacious and bright kitchen with a big stone fireplace and a living room, with an upper floor accommodating the alcova with a double bed. Two comfortable single sofa-beds complete the sleeping possibilities; wide bath with shower and sunlight.
The main entrance leads into the house from the very large terrace which overlooks the sea.
The second room, a living area, allows you to enjoy privacy and silence .
In the property there is another delicious apartment on the roof of the house : private fully equipped terrace with seaview,large bedroom, large bathroom with hand-painted tiles, cozy fully equipped kitchenette , ancient furniture, air conditioning.
The little apartment sleeps two and might be rented jointly with the ground floor one.
