Traditional rammed earth farmhouse, in a quiet valley 7 km from the Atlantic, within the Natural Park.
Comfortably furnished, two double rooms and two single rooms, large
well-equipped kitchen, cosy sitting room with wood buning stove. Large bathroom with washing machine. Spacious patio with barbeque and out door furniture, looking onto a pretty garden, with various fruit trees, including some very tasty fig trees. Lovely walks from the house on footpaths and tracks, through cork oaks and unfenced sheep pasture. Visit the windmill where you can buy freshly ground flour! Climb any of the surrounding hills to see the sun set on the ocean. Horse lovers can get to know our horses "India" and "Segredo".
Within a thirty kilometre radius there are various picturesque villages, wonderful beaches and coastal cliffs, and beautiful unspoilt countryside. A haven for rare birds.
Halfway between Lisbon and Faro, accessable by car, coach and train. Or you can be picked up from the airport.

Details: A typical Alentejo farmhouse, built from rammed earth, comfortably modernized without losing its charm. Four bedrooms, two are double, one is small but has a small double bed, and the fourth is a single. The sitting room has a woodburning stove. The kitchen is large and well equipped. There is a barbequeue on the patio.
The house lies in a beautiful valley 8 k's from the Atlantic coast. It is quiet, with lovely walks. Great for birdwatching,and other country pleasures.
