| This typical longere offers comfortable accomodation for 6 people, having a separate lounge, kitchen and dining-room. The focal point of the lounge is the wonderful log burning fire. Though steeped in history this farmhouse has all the amenties of home, such as tv, video, hifi, dishwasher, washing machine, micorwave. Lots of games and books to suit all ages. The garden complete with bbq and garden furniture overlooks the vineyards.A further garden with swimming pool, sun loungers, table and chairs children's play area and large stone built traditioanl bbq are for you to enjoy.
In the heart of the Loire valley wine route, we are surrounded by vines, sunflowers and maize. The lanes surrounding the gite are wonderful for cycling, we have cycles for hire, walking, bird watching or just parking and watching the gentle sway of the sunflowers.

Details: The original Farmhouse dates back to the 18th century. A traditional French Longiere has the benefit of very few stairs, only two leading into the bedroom area and three from the kitchen to the dining room. The tiles in the lounge, kitchen and one of the bedrooms are original and unique for the area. In the lounge we have installed a wood burning fire which gives heat and a warm glow on the cooler evening in spring and winter, comfortably furnished and has TV and videos, hi-fi and cd’s, plus books and games for all ages. The oil fired central heating provides warmth throughout the gite. Anjou has a separate lounge, dining room and kitchen as well as a separate bathroom and toilet. Also two double bedrooms and one twin room. Cot and travel cot highchair and pushchair are also available on request.
Anjou has its own spacious private lawned garden overlooking the vineyards complete with BBQ, garden furniture, child’s picnic table etc….
The swimming and paddling pool are in the top garden. We also have sun loungers, tables and chairs. There is a childrens play area with swings, toddlers slide and many other outdoor play items.
Guests are encouraged to pick the fruit from our pear, apple, apricote and plum tress plus a hosts of other soft fruits.
