The nearest small town is the ancient commune of Nant some 6 km distant and some 25 km down the Dourbie Gorges is the large town of Millau. Beautiful and unique Cantobre is only 1 hour from the beaches of the Mediterranean and even closer to the spectacular Gorges of the river Tarn. Our holiday home, with its south facing terraces overlooking the Dourbie valley, are all located within the historic village and have been modernized sympathetically within the old village houses. La Canard is a semi-detached stone village house sleeping up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Le Canard is typical village houses. It offers great flexibility in numbers holidaying. The main house consists of a large dining sitting room with a built in kitchen and a wood burning stove and electric radiator heating. Within the main house there are two double bedrooms and a toilet shower room. All rooms have electric radiators. This house can also be made available with two additional bedrooms. The first is entered from the access to the terrace and is twin bedded with a separate toilet and shower room. The second larger bedroom is accessed from the path to the house and contains a double bed and its own toilet / shower room. This arrangement gives great flexibility when renting this property. The minimum being 2 people but with the possibility of up to 8 persons. The property has a large south facing terrace, which overlooks the village square and down the Dourbie valley.
