Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: Set on a large private detached plot, Casa Paradiso is located in a quiet location close to the heart of the popular destination of Moraira, on Spain’s Glorious Costa Blanca…
The blue flag beaches, and fantastic selection of shops and restaurants of this resort are only a five minute drive away from the house, the closest bar, restaurant, and shop being only 2 minutes walk from the house…
The Casa is a traditional Spanish finca that has been fully restored and modernised to offer the traveller every consideration for that perfect luxury family vacation, yet the owners have retained all of the charm that bygone Iberian home, with every eye to detail and no expense spared to any part of the house, the house is totally enclosed, therefore making it perfect for the safety of children
The house boasts many luxurious amenities, to the rear of the property we have, a large private and enclosed garden area, which is host to a vast array of palm trees to shade you during the day, a large private floodlit pool and gardens for those romantic Iberian nights under the stars!!
Outdoor shower and BBQ areas, palm covered private outdoor heated massage Jacuzzi spa, large open terraces and sun beds and seating for up to 10 persons, and many sun blinds and canopies to escape the heat of the Mediterranean sun.
To the front elevation of the property, we have large, floodlit Italian style gardens with tropical fauna, and private off road parking for up to 3 vehicles,
The accommodation is set over the lower level of the finca, with there being a total of 4 bedrooms, the accomodation can sleep up to 8 persons, or two families.
To this level we have two bedrooms with double beds, and full hot and cold air conditioning, and fitted wardrobes, and also a further bedroom complete with bunk beds, again, full air con, and one twin room, again, both with wardrobes, separate open plan kitchen with all amenities, including oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and fresh fruit juicer, and also of course, large fridge freezer.
To the large open plan lounge there is a large screen television, with full sky satellite coverage, dvd/cd player, and surround sound system, and super large comfortable sofas for those relaxing nights after the long sunny days, also to the lounge we have full hot and cold air conditioning…
The house also has iron and board, and washing machine/dryer.
The owner is personally on hand to deal and assist with your holiday stay, and can arrange car hire, personal airport collection, maid cleaning and baby-sitting services as required. They will also advise on local restaurants and places of interest to visit.
The agent is personally on hand to assist with any enquiries you may have, and is only willing to help you in any matter, the owner has use of the upper level of this villa from time to time, but you have private use of all facilities whilst you are here, and will not be disturbed in any way, the owners only visits on occasion throughout the year.
Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca, and lies in a bay, on the South Eastern coast of Spain, between the larger resorts of Javea and Calpe, the surrounding area has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and.unspoilt scenery and many small villages to explore. There are also some larger resorts nearby that are easily reached by car that are well worth visiting: Javea, Calpe, Denia and Altea are all within 15km, while Benidorm is about 30km away. Moraira enjoys a typical subtropical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold North winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees. In 1986 the World Health Organisation recommended the climate of the area as one of the most equitable in the world - neither too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it an ideal all year round destination.
Once a sleepy fishing village, Moraira has grown into a small yet charming and picturesque town It is now an attractive holiday and retirement resort retaining its considerable charm that attracts visitors from all over Europe and is particularly popular with Spanish from Madrid and Valencia. It has an impressive marina, excellent variety of local shops, weekly open markets, harbour-side fish restaurants and bars still retaining their Spanish character. The main hub of life is beside the pretty yacht marina offering a good selection of restaurants and bars where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. A charming square still retains much of the original character and atmosphere and is home to the local church. There are restaurants, bars and several interesting shops lining the narrow cobbled streets. In the high season, the town comes alive in the evenings with locals and visitors alike.
This little town also has its own popular wide, gently shelving sandy beach with shallow waters and a smaller beach in the adjacent hamlet of El Portet. Both beaches were awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness and are safe for family bathing, both are also served by beach bars and restaurants which serve drinks, snacks and main meals. It is also well worth exploring the many other coves and bays along the coast with sand or sand/rock beaches.
If you like open markets then, apart from the weekly Friday market held next to the beach, you could plan a visit to the various markets held at nearby resorts for each day of the week! Apart from the buzzing activity you would see cheap fresh fruit and vegetables, local specialities, herbs and spices, leather goods, clothes, rugs, fresh and silk flowers, souvenirs, pottery and a whole variety of other goods.
There are many places of interest to see on day excursions, apart from the other coastal resorts of Javea, Calpe, Denia, Altea, Benidorm, Villajoyosa and Alicante there is also the spectacular scenery to see inland including the wonderful mountain-top fortress of Guadalest, the Vergal Safari Park near Denia, Europe’s largest palm forest at Elche and the ancient city of Murcia. Valencia (third largest city in Spain) is one and a half hours away and Barcelona (second largest) and the capital Madrid are four hours away, all reached by motorway. Spain’s answer to Euro Disney, Port Adventura near Barcelona, is about four and a half hours away. The famous `Lemon train has also to be experienced as it has been described as one of the great train journeys of Europe, running between Alicante and Denia
