Only five minutes stroll one way to sandy beach, and two lively beach bar restaurants with frequent live music. Go to the beach when you want, no long, hot car journeys. Walk in the other direction for warm crossiants for breakfast in the morning. High street only 5 mins walk, as is the supermarket. At 10 mins stroll down the high street - butchers, bakers (3) (and candlestick makers - well candle sellers!), tourist office, bank with machine, tabac - sells English papers, to the lively fresh produce market, wet fish, local mussels and ofcourse oysters, cheeses, cooked dishes, fresh, local fruit and veg - open 7 mornings a week in season. Over 15 restaurants between 5 and 20 mins stroll, quicker if driving. Ideally situated if you want to explore further afield - or just relax in Meschers.
