We are situated in the South Vendee, within easy reach of La Rochelle, and offer gites for self-catering holiday accommodation. The gites are furnished for blocks of minimum one week holidays, arriving on a Saturday. There's a solar heated swimming pool (10m * 5m) fenced for safety, Summer kitchen and BBQ as shared facilities
The gites themselves are adjoining the owners' accommodation, where there is ample parking and places to relax, both sunny and shaded - there's even an orchard !! We are on the outskirts of the village of Nieul sur l'Autise, with its famous Abbey, so the French bread at the Boulengerie and un glass of vin rouge at the Hotel are 5 minutes walk away
We are ideally situated for the Forest at Mervent, La Rochelle, Futurscope at Poitiers and Puy du Fou towards Nantes

How to get here: If you're coming from St. Malo, you will head for Rennes and then Nantes. At Nantes take the A83 (its a toll road, 'péage' in French) and leave at the FONTENAY LE COMTE exit, Junction 8. Get onto the N148 in the direction of NIORT.
