Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: Chestnut is a stunning individual detached stone cottage with many of its original features retained . It is one of 3 cottages standing on a stunning 3 acre plot overlooking the adjoining Lake du Dordu(which is accessible directly from the grounds
The cottage has an open plan aspect with a spacious lounge including a stunning magnificent feature fire place with wood burner and a "Prie-dieu" which was used by Pilgrims for washing and praying
There is also an open plan dining area and a well equipped fitted kitchen and an open staircase, and a dining area and well equipped fitted kitchen Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and adjoining shower room. The first floor is accessed via a fesature pine staircase and has a large master bedroom with exposed beams , steeple cieling and original breton furnishings There are a further 2 twin bedrooms and a family shower room. Outside is a large private garden with BBQ, Patio and garden furniture
The lac is accessible directly from our grounds and has a variety of birdlife, lake side bar, childrens play ares and interesting fish stocks. The local village is a 15 minute lake side stroll away and has a boulangerie, restaurant and bar.
