Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: Luxury, comfort and magnificent views; this house offers it all. Originally a 16th or 17th Century chapel which has been added to over the centuries and superbly restored into a large, charming and comfortable three bedroom (sleeps 8) stone country cottage, with spectacular views of rolling hills and Chateau Biron. The house is set in 10 acres of landscaped gardens and fileds with a lovelly swimming pool and old stone barns.
Kitchen & Back Kitchen: Fully equipped with French doors opening onto south-facing patio. Appliances include electric hob, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge & washing machine.
Living room / Dining room: is large open plan (50 sq. metres) with an enormous fireplace. It has been meticulously restored and maintains it's original features - oak timbers and stone archways. There are comfy chairs and a sofa to curl up on. Large oak dining table easily seats 8. French doors open onto south-east facing patio, overlookign gardens and stunning views with Chateau Biron in the distance. There is a TV with UK and French Satellite channels, video player, DVD player, CD player and a selection of books, tourist guides & games.
Bedroom 1: Spacious master bedroom with full en-suite bathroom. opens onto balcony with views. Queen & single beds.
Bedroom 2: Double Bed & folding bed if needed. Bedroom 3: Two twin beds. Second bathroom: large & modern with bath, shower, bidet, sink & toilet.
Garden: There are 10 acrews of landscaped gardens & fields with mature trees, an orchard, and a private 10m x 4m swimming pool with roman steps and surrounding patio.
Ben linen & towels are supplied. Please bring your own towls for outside use. All electricity and gas is supplied. You will find garden and poolside furniture, sunshades, gas barbecue, boules & croquet, firewood, bicycles & ample parking space.

How to get here: By Air: 40 minute drive to Bergerac Airport. Ryan Air and Flybe fly from Stansted & Bristol. Colombier is 2.5 hours from both Bordeaux and Toulouse Airports. These airports are served by British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, Ryan Air (Carcassonne only), and KLM. By Rail: TGV high speed rail lint to Libourne, Toulouse or Bordeaux. Self-drive: 6 hours from Paris. Ferry ports: 11 hours from Calais; 9 hours from Caen & La Havre; 6.5 horus form St. Malo.
