Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: For couples looking for a holiday haven that offers privacy, peace and quiet and luxury accommodation, we have created The Garden Studio just a few minutes from the beaches at Fort Mahon, and with easy access to Le Touquet, Montreuil, and Abbeville.
This charming apartment was originally the living quarters of the butler/housekeeper couple to one of the richest men in post-war France. It has just been refurbished and redecorated, with original art on the walls, comfortable modern furniture, a luxury bathroom and a compact but fully-equipped modern kitchen, to create a wonderfully sunny and restful holiday place, strictly for couples only.
The Garden Studio is in the village of Conchil-le-Temple, 10 minutes from the beaches at Fort Mahon and Berck, 20 minutes from Montreuil sur Mer and Le Touquet, and less than one hour from Calais.
The village is quiet with a general store, a boucherie, a craft gift shop and a church. There is an excellent market in Berck on Sunday mornings. Good restaurants abound in the area and there are several within 3 kilometres.
There's a large open-plan living room with comfortable furniture, coffee table, reading light, bookcase and TV cabinet (UK free-to-air satellite TV and digital radio channels) with DVD/CD player.
The compact kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, kettle, electric cafetière, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, glasses, utensils, pans, etc.
The bedroom is light, roomy and comfortable, with a double bed, hanging wardrobe, shelves, full length mirror, dressing table and chair, reading lights, roller shutters and curtains. There's an en-suite tiled bathroom with bath, shower and WC.
The apartment has its own private entrance door and a small lobby. Direct access to the immaculately maintained garden and a dedicated parking space within secure gated grounds.
Patrick & Sue Hay, the owners, live on site in the other wing of their spectacular house.

How to get here: The village is only a few kilometres from the A16 motorway exit to Berck. Calais and the Channel Tunnel are less than 1 hour drive. Boulogne is about 40 minutes. Beauvais airport with direct flights from Glasgow, Guernsey and Dublin is about 75 minutes drive.
