Please note that the park is generally closed to the public outside of school holidays, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing location for that out of season break.
There is a 35 euro cleaning charge per stay, which includes your bed linen, and a security deposit of 150 euros, both of which are payable on arrival at the Park. Your security deposit, will, of course, be returned to you on the day you leave, providing the cottage is returned in a good condition. From September to May electricity is charged for on usage.
Special Offer / Late Bookings: LATE BOOKINGS - We are happy to take late bookings but we do like at least five working days in order to organise and reserve your holiday. However, holidays can be booked as late as the day of arrival, although this will be done directly with the holiday park, and costs will be confirmed to you prior to booking. For late bookings (eight weeks to the day of arrival), the cost of the holiday is payable immediately, in full.

Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: Caravelle cottage is located at Bellefontaine Holiday park in Normandy, a small complex of 10 self catering cottages. The cottage has an open fire, a private terrace overlooking an orchard and it's own parking space. As the cottages are comfortably spread around the park you have a choice of being alone for a quiet spell or joining in with other holiday-makers in this spacious English-run family friendlyholiday park in Normandy.
The cottage / gite has: fully equipped seperate kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, cooker, microwave, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery. Iron and ironing board supplied.
Lounge/dining room, furnished with traditional oak furniture, an open log fire and electric heaters. English and French electric sockets,Radio and a large double sofa bed. (optional occasional use only, not recommended for use for a weeks stay)
Master bedroom with double bed; Single Bedroom with adult sized bunk-beds; Twin bedded bedroom with single beds. Each room has ample wardrobe space, lamps etc.
Bathroom with hydrotherapy shower complete with seat. Separate toilet (all new in 2008)
Porch with seating area and beautiful views.
Linen & Duvets are provided
The park has a multitude of facilities, including: Club House & Bar, typical English food served throughout the day along with international buffet nights all year round; Sports Room -play real pool or video pool and watch your favourite sport on TV; Spa & Sauna plus exercise equipment; Mini Cinema with Wii and playstation; childrens indoor playroom and outdoor play area, plus many acres of green park; Outdoor pool for cooling off; Internet WIFI is free within the clubhouse plus there is an internet café. The clubhouse has a great decked area / winter room which gives beautiful, almost panoramic views of Normandy.
There is entertainment each Friday evening throughout peak periods, (including several X Factor and Stars in Their Eyes acts during 2008) plus family activities are organised. Saturday night is curry night. Laundry washing and drying facilities are available

How to get here: Bellefontaiine is between Sourdeval and Mortain, in the post code area 50520.
From Caen Ferry Port - From the Ferry Port head towards Caen. Join the ring road direction Rennes/Mt. St. Michèle.
Take the A84 towards Rennes.
Leave the A84 at junction 42 direction Vire.
Continue through Vire, and then Sourdeval (Direction Mortain).
1 mile outside of Sourdeval on a tight bend you will notice a brown tourist sign to "The Village Enchanté"
Follow these signs until you reach Bellefontaine.
Bellefontaine Park is to the left of Bellefontaine church at the bottom of the lane.
