Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: "LA MAISON NORMANDE"
This Gite has been recently lovingly refurbished to match the features of the main Columbage house. On the ground floor: An open plan living area which includes an above average fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, dining table and chairs, cutlery and crockery for eight people, and a double bed settee. There are French windows leading out of the main living area onto the garden and 8 x 4 mtr swimmimg pool. There is ample room to play, rest and relax. Also on the ground floor there is a toilet and shower room with washing machine. On the first floor: There are two bedrooms and a shared toilet and shower room. One is a master bedroom (double or two singles) which has extra space for 1 small bed if required. The other bedroom is a twin. Both rooms have nice views across the countryside and face the sun as it sets. This Gite has gas central heating and is well insulated.
Normandy is one of the better known of the French Provinces and certainly one of the most popular. It has a contrasting landscape offering an interesting and exciting holiday for people of all ages and has been attracting tourists and travelers for centuries. La Maison Normande sleeping 4/6 people is situated in the commune of Neuville sur Touques which is in the beautiful and picturesque Orne region of Normandy, bordering Calvados and the Pays d'Auge. This charming Gite is easily reachable from the ferry ports of Le Harve, Caen, Cherbourge and Dieppe and is a 3.5 hr car journey from calais. It is possible to catch a train from Bernay to Lisieux into the centre of Paris which takes about an hour. Gourmet meals can also be provided.
