Full Description of Holiday Rental Property: Our attractive holiday home has been created by the lovingly and painstaking renovation of a large XVII century estate. The farmhouse, divided into one cottage ,La Baita ( 4+2 pax) and four apartments: Il Soppalco ( 7+2 pax), Il Covo (4+2 pax) ,La Fontanina ( 2+3 pax), Il Carpano (3+2 pax), is set on a panoramic position on the gentle slopes that descend towards the left bank of the Arno river.
A large fenced garden w/swimming pool with a part for children surrounds the compound. All the apartments have been tastefully finished, fully furnished and they have TV sat, their own heating system. Laundry room available for common use. BBQ.
The quiet, hilly, panoramic area is only three kilometres from the beautiful medieval hamlet of Laterina. The lodgings enjoy countryside privacy, close proximity to the attractions and amenities of Arezzo; they are also the ideal base for many excursions to all Central Italy. Firenze, Siena, Cortona, lake Trasimeno and Perugia are not so far away; since there are good motorways and rail links with the rest of Tuscany .The shopping lover will find nearby many outlets of the most famous Italian fashion brands : such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi, D&G…

How to get here: From Florence:
Highway A1 (Firenze - Roma) exit Valdarno. After the exit follow the direction Levane –Bucine- , after about 8 km , you are in the Center of Levane. There is a traffic light , turn left and follow the direction towards Arezzo ( you are now on S.S.69 road) -after about 4 kms ,you will see on your left the sign “ Montalto – Laterina”. Here you turn on the left and follow the road for approximately 6 km, untill you reach a cross road ( laterina is on the hill on your left), on your left there is also a big Tamoil gas station. Here you must turn on your right “ Via Fabbrica” and you must follow the road until you cross the bridge over the Arno River, after you cross the bridge you will have to turn on your right : there is a white road: you must follow it for about 2.8 km and you will reach the old church and our house.
From Pisa: Highway A11, direction Florence,at Florence -without living the highway, take Highway A1, direction Rome, the follow the same direction as above.
From Rome
Highway :A1 from Rome towards Florence, exit AREZZO, after the exit turn left and follow the indication towards Arezzo center ( Città -centro) , after approximately 3,8 km turn right following the indication PONTE A CHIANI, and continue until the junction, here turn on the left and follow the sign MONTEVARCHI- FIRENZE ( you are now on the state road 69) follow the road for about 7 km, and after the sign PONTICINO, you will see to your left , the indication LATERINA ( as a point of reference) while turning right you will see on your left an horrible building ( called the Country Hotel), follow the road and after approximately 2.5 km before the bridge over the Arno River, , on your left you will see a white road. Turn left and follow the winding road, without taking any deviation, after crossing a small bridge, with on old ancient building on your left( mind that Is not the church but it is an old place where they used to put the tobacco leaves to dry), you go straight and immediately after the old church there is our holiday Home Borgo santa Maria.
